Simply put, CrossFit Tallahassee’s mission is to help, “Create lifelong sustainable fitness in our members.” After spending time in our facility and with our team we want our members to walk out of our doors after a workout and feel like they are better version of themselves. It isn’t the scientific sum of calories, workouts and weight that keeps our members returning. It is not the cutting edge equipment and technology. It is the people that count. Our team cares about guiding and encouraging each and every member to obtain the goals they seek for themselves. Our members’ goals are specific and if we can assist in that journey to realizing their aspirations then we have truly helped them change their life.

Data is the secret ingredient to successful training. We track every number that you lift within our walls, making you become better, faster. SugarWod makes keeping your numbers fun and the best part is encouraging each other. It’s always fun to see how everyone is doing and it doesn’t matter where you are in your fitness journey.

Social

We offer the largest FREE accountability group on the planet. We workout and play together often. Workouts aren’t bad when you’re making new friends. Join us and immediately have 100+ workout buddies ready to be there for you!

Nutrition

Learn from those who have personal and professional experience not from a 20-something that’s never had a personal issue with their diet. Our Nutrition: Basics seminar prepares everyone by educating you on nutrition. For those ready to make a change we offer our Nutrition: Implementation + Success programs. Special Challenges

Whether you have a family history of chronic disease you are trying to avoid or are dealing with it now we can help. We have personal experience that informs our coaching and we can help.

I joined Crossfit Tallahassee last April. Greg and Teresa brought something out of me that I didn't know I had, endurance and strength. They pushed me really hard in all of the exercises and taught me how to keep going when I didn't feel like I had anything left to give, through many exercises of weight lifting, running, box jumping, jump rope, and pull ups, they were always by my side coaching me every step of the way. They also taught me a lot about technique, posture, and healthy eating. Teresa and Greg were great coaches and mentors as well as the other athletes in the class!

Since I joined CFTally, I am stronger, faster, healthier and happier!  CrossFit is about pushing yourself to be the healthiest, strongest and best person you can be.  It has taught me that you CAN do anything if you really want to.  Anyone can do it and everyone should do it!!!!  CFTally is a great, friendly atmosphere with all the tools you need to be a successful CrossFitter!    Just be aware, it’s ADDICTIVE!

I had preconceived notions about what CrossFit was like before I joined; I envisioned really fit and muscular people who were really good at everything, stuck up and exclusive; I imagined I would never fit in, but with prodding from a few friends, I decided to try it out. This idea I had in my head of what it would be like was totally blown out of the water at Tallahassee CrossFit.  In fact, it was pretty much the opposite.  From the members to the trainers, everyone I encountered was very inclusive, very friendly and genuine, extremely encouraging and supportive. From the experience I’ve had at CrossFit Tallahassee, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, no matter where life takes me, I will ALWAYS crossfit.

I started Crossfit with Tallahassee Crossfit this January because I was bored with my normal workout routine. I was running races every couple of months including half marathons around Florida. Although I was in pretty good cardiovascular shape, I needed a change in my workout. My muscle mass was low, I could barely do a pushup and had trouble picking up my own groceries. I knew I needed a change. When I initially thought of Crossfit as an option, I immediately dismissed the thought. I heard that it was bad for your body and that you become a “bulky” looking woman instead of looking fit and healthy. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Crossfit seemed like something I could never do because of my health challenges.  I did not realize that each workout is scaled to your individual fitness level.  When Coach Greg told me that, I decided to give it a try because that is exactly what I needed!  Receiving personalized training in a group setting has been so inspiring as I watch all the various fitness levels around me. And I Love the fact that there is a different workout (WOD) each day!  It never gets boring and it is Always Challenging!   In less than a year of attending Crossfit Tallahassee, I have greatly increased my muscle strength and tone.
